"No Exams" For SHS Final Students Will Not Collapse Ghana - Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh

The minister of education Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said in an interview on Kokrokoo a program hosted on peace FM hosted by Kwame Sefa Kayi.
The minister's decision to cancel the WASSCE examination this year came as a result of the pandemic outrage known as CORONAVIRUS.
The president of Ghana H.E Nana Akuffo Addo has suspended school activities to help curb Ghana's current situation of the coronavirus.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh following the president's decree on school activities across the country was forced to take this decision.
But many Ghanaians are suggesting if the minister could possibly find a more proper idea to get the students to write their final examination ''WASSCE", but the minister is of the view that the cancellation of the exams will not collapse the country.
According to him, the government is supposed to implement policies that will ensure the continuation of education in the country so he has called on the university chancellors to find ways to consider the entrance to their various universities for the current final year students.
