She says that politics is a one-time game that dented her image and she is not ready to join any political party, for now, she says that her husband is ill and needs attention from her, therefore, she is holding on to any political post nor any political activity till further notice. Honorable Otiko Djaba was demoted by the current government of Ghana from the minister of gender and women affairs to a lower rank in the political space at the office of the president and she decided to resign from the political post.
she says it is better to focus on one's achievement in life and take care of family or people around you that you could depend on in the future.

Honorable Otiko Djaba is currently holding no political position in Ghanaian.
in our view, we realized that the demotion that was affected last year by the president really got to the former honorable minister.
