The general secretary of the NPP, John Boadu had said that government and the NPP party will not allow any debate between the president Nana Akuffo Addo and the former president John Dramani Mahama.
According to the story, the general secretary of the party said that the president is too old for a debates and moreover the timing is bad due to COVID-19.
According to him, those calling for the debate will be disappointed this time around because they are not ready for it.
Some group of Ghanaians are calling for a live debate between the two titans of the country, the former president and the current president.
According to the group promoting the campaigns for the debate said, this will spell well the true vision they have for the country.
But the general secretary of the party has declined on the call.
