A LETTER TO Dr. BAWUMIA ON THE TRUE STATE OF THE ECONOMY - BY: KING KONG

Dear Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, with much respect and honor, I greet you your Excellency Dr. Bawumia today the 18th June 2018 marks exactly 526 days since you assumed office and took over the prime affairs of the country, with enough hope, expectations and the idea of great economic transformations, we paused every activity on the 7 December 2016 just to get to our various polling stations and queued for over 4 solid hours in other to vote for leadership change in our country.
Dr. Bawumia, our hopes were that you and your economic team would do much better for us than the previous government, but what we are seeing now is rather the opposite of livelihood improvement. Have you since forgotten the numerous economic mathematics you displayed on the campaign desk or you are now facing the realities of the game?
Honestly nothing has changed positively, honestly things are getting worst than before, we are still seeing economic downfalls, we are still paying huge rents and accommodations, we are still experiencing joblessness, fuel prices are shooting up abnormally, corruption is still ongoing, lorry fares are over burdening the poor, import duties are sky rocketing, companies are still collapsing each day, credit rates are still bad, NHIS is still facing challenges and under your watch we are seeing the flying Dollar at GHC 4.75 to $1.
A TRUE STORY
TITLE: LOVE IS FOOLISHNESS.
ARTISTE: HARRYSON MEE

Your excellency nothing has changed for better, if your management procedures are not working kindly consult a more brilliant economist for a better one to improve our lives, it is very unbearable your excellency, I believe you remember the following concerns in you 2016 manifesto.

• teachers are suffering • teacher trainees are suffering • nurses are suffering
• nursing trainees are suffering • patients are suffering • students are suffering
• traders are suffering• pensioners are suffering • drivers are suffering
• contractors are suffering• civil servants are suffering • farmers are suffering
• fishermen are suffering • industries are suffering • artisans are suffering
• kayayei are suffering • men are suffering • women are suffering
• children are crying
• Ghanaians are suffering.
Your excellency we are rather seeing a more difficult times compared to the previous government.

Fuel
Ref.... NPP 2016 manifesto:
What The NPP will do: The NPP commits to a transparent, accountable and efficient management of the country’s petroleum resources for the benefit of all Ghanaians.

During one of your campaign periods you said something very significant about increase in fuel prices, your excellency you said wrong management is the challenge and your team of brilliant managers were going to work hard to reduce the fuel price from GHC 16 per gallon to a more reduced price, and the prices we are seeing now is very very bad, honestly bad. GHC 22.50p per gallon now, in mathematical terms GHC 6.50p increase with 526 days since you and your brilliant managers took over.  Let put aside theoretical economy and face the realities, in Hausa you say "Abubuwa suna da wuya", meaning things are so hard.......

Your excellency petrol and diesel now selling GHC 22.50p per gallon, is it better?

Dollar Rate

USD GHS average rate for December 2016 is 4.22392, the change between 01/12/2016 and 31/12/2016 is -2.81 %.
Your excellency I copied this financial history from the below website, you may check for your own reference.

Your excellency this and other reasons compelled us to vote for you, your excellency you had a good campaign message but your mode of econimic management is making it look as if you can talk well but can not work. Today the US dollar to Ghana Cedi is GHC 4.75p, your excellency, is it any better?
well we have seen more tough times but these are critical challenges that has to be checked and resolved before 2020 general elections or else we will repeat the same votes we did 2016 but this time atround it will not be a good news for you.
Your excellency kindly try to reduce the rocketing fuel prices and the dollar rate, we just don't want to feel as if our intergrities were taken for granted, things are hard.
Your excellency n3 bii amli wa ha w) waa di3nts3.
