The current state of corruption in Ghana is alarming and the president of the Republic of Ghana nana addo dankwa akufo-addo is pretending as though corruption is not existing in his government. Ghana since the fourth Republic have seen five heads of state and each president has been accused of corruption by the people. But for the current government led by president nana addo dankwa akufo-addo, the people of Ghana are saying that corruption in this current government is alarming. Comparing the current corruption States in Ghana to previous administration is too high, and Ghana this is gradually sinking into corruption.
An issue of KelniGVG has been raised but yet the president turn blind eye and deaf ears to the truth. The Australian visa fraud which was perpetrated by the deputy minister of information has been cleared by the president as well.
An issue of the Oslo Chancery deal in Norway was also cleared by the president of the Republic of Ghana. Order issues in relations to electoral fraud and assaults has also been cleared by the president of the Republic of Ghana.
There's been issues in relation to the Ghana football association which has traces of serious corruption but yet the president of the Republic of Ghana is turned deaf ears and blind eye to the situation.
Ghana used to be at the bottom of corruption forecasters but in recent times corruption perception has gone very high, and so obvious that the government is laughing in corruption, dancing in corruption and this is getting serious.
Research was conducted by Ghanahub News, and we found that most Ghanaian have this to say, that the current president Nana addo dankwa akufo-addo and his government are more corrupt than the previous governments.
John dramani mahama was very assiduous and industrious in making sure that corrupt officials under him went through the necessary prosecution and face the penalties of their actions.
But President nana addo dankwa akufo-addo and his corrupt officials are walking freely in the street of Accra and living a life as though they have nothing to answer to.
